DMCA / Copyright Policy

1. Purpose of This Policy

This DMCA / Copyright Policy describes how copyright owners can report alleged infringements and how creators can respond if they believe their content was removed in error. It applies to all user-generated content (UGC) uploaded to Hentaichu.

2. Submitting a Takedown Notice

If you believe that material on Hentaichu infringes your copyright, please send a written DMCA Notice to our Designated Agent at:

Your notice must include all of the following:

• Your full legal name, postal address, and email address.
• A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed.
• The exact URL(s) on Hentaichu where the infringing material appears.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

Incomplete or abusive notices may be ignored. We reserve the right to verify ownership before removing any content.

3. Response to Valid Notices

When a valid DMCA Notice is received, Hentaichu will:

• Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.
• Notify the uploader (creator) of the complaint.
• Record the incident internally for potential repeat-infringer action.

4. Submitting a Counter-Notice

If you believe your material was removed in error, you may submit a Counter-Notice to the same address (dmca@hentaichu.com), including:

• Your name, address, and contact email.
• The content that was removed and its previous URL.
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the removal or disabling was the result of mistake or misidentification.
• Your consent to jurisdiction of a court in your country of residence (or Germany if you are outside the EU).
• Your electronic signature.

Upon receiving a valid Counter-Notice, Hentaichu may restore the material after 10 business days, unless the complainant files legal action within that time.

5. Repeat Infringement Policy

Users who repeatedly violate copyright laws or receive multiple takedown requests may have their accounts permanently terminated without refund.

6. Misuse of DMCA Process

Submitting false or bad-faith DMCA Notices is a legal offense. You may be held liable for damages (including costs and attorney fees) under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f) or equivalent international laws.
